I'm Madison Brandon, the bubbly, outgoing creative you've been looking for. My obsessions range from the color pink and Sonny Angels to all things creative. My journey started with my neon green iPhone 5c and an admittedly cringe photo of a beach hat resting on the sand, but that little moment sparked my love for photography.
That curiosity grew into an 8-year journey in yearbook, where I refined my skills across street and studio photography, discovered graphic design, and self-taught Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Lightroom. That passion eventually led me to become Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning Pilot.
At University of California, Davis, where I double majored in Managerial Economics and Graphic Design, I continued expanding my creative toolkit through Figma and Canva and discovered a love for social media marketing. As Digital Media Specialist and later Vice President of Marketing for Alpha Delta Pi, I became obsessed with creating the next viral piece of content. Leading a marketing team taught me collaboration, patience, and how to turn feedback into stronger work. During my time in the role, I increased engagement by 120%, followers by 20%, and merchandise sales by 60%.
I've continued building my marketing experience as a Social Media Assistant with UC Davis Dining Services, where it still feels surreal to be recognized on campus for content I've created. It's also taught me the confidence that great marketing requires, including not being afraid to embarrass myself for a great video. As I step into post-grad life, I'm excited by the world of creative advertising agencies and eager to be in the room where bold ideas come to life. My experience with Focused Artist Branding, a branding agency centered on celebrity partnerships, has given me insight into the strategy and execution behind endorsements. I'm excited to bring that knowledge into the creative and production side of the industry, where I can contribute my own ideas, energy, and design perspective.
With over 7 years of graphic design experience, I have grown my skills across multiple adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and more. Additionally, I have grown my experience in other graphic softwares such as Figma and CanvaPro.
